Salviani, a historic company from Castel Madama (province of Rome) specializing in the olive sector for the fresh market, is ready to make its debut at Marca 2018, the international trade fair for retailer’s branded products to be held tomorrow and Thursday in Bologna exhibition center.

“We will be present for the first time in Marca – announces Serena Cascini, Salviani’s marketing and foreign manager to Italiafruit News – not only to consolidate our positioning in the Italian retail market, but also, and above all, to expand the trade of fresh olives. with foreign large-scale distribution. We believe that the fair, in this sense, will be very useful. In Bologna, in fact, we will have the opportunity to meet buyers selected by the organizers and coming from different areas of the USA “.

The Salviani company comes from a very positive 2017, which saw it grow significantly abroad and renew the logo and packaging of its leading products, also investing in organic. “For the international market, which we have been dealing with in a structured way for five years, our goal is to develop the private label business”, adds Cascini.

“In Italy, on the other hand, we aim to grow with the new lines under the Le Ideali and I BioUnici brands – explains the marketing manager – the first offers numerous references of olives both in brine and seasoned, available with two different packaging: the thermo-sealed trays of 250 grams and disposable sachets of 125 grams to be presented in a dedicated display; the second (in the opening photo), on the other hand, includes four references of organic olives in brine, 100% Italian and proposed in square bottom sachets “.

“Among other things – Cascini says – we have nominated I BioUnici for the 2018 Adi Packaging Design Award, designed to enhance the most innovative products in the Italian packaging sector”.
